Absolute Protection Canine Unit provides professional, customized explosive/firearm detection services to military and federal agencies, individuals, schools and major corporations. Detection services are tailored to individual needs in an unobtrusive discreet manner or as a high visibility deterrent.

Absolute Protection Canines receive daily training and are certified annually through national certification centers including ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms), U.S. Police Canine Association, Department of Energy and also independent certification centers. Absolute handlers are trained and tested yearly in explosive “booby trap” ambush recognition. They are also experienced in the inherent dangers and necessary safety precautions associated with explosive/firearm detection.

Our canines are trained to detect all High Based and Low Based Explosives including (but not limited to) the following odors:
